Apparently my meals of this sort are the only (so far) that I feel like making ARFCom worthy.  Let me know what you think.

Meal consists of a nice thick ribeye that was 'quick marinaded' in some worchester sauce (sp?) lemon pepper, black pepper, a little and garlic salt.  Plus a nice baked potato with butter/sour cream/salt/pepper a few pieces of toasted bread and a little salad.  The crowning piece (of which I am still enjoying) is a Unibroue 15.  Ladies and Gents, this is by far my favorite Unibroue so far.  I've had this one for a while and from what I've seen they are few and far between, and not available anymore.  10% of 1 pint 9.4oz's of pure Belgian style bliss.

The beer alone receives a 10 from me.

Additions per ARFCOM dinner pic requirements includes my new AR (first one, built myself) Kimber 1911 and an HK branded Benchmade.

Rocky Pic on the wall!

Try Three Philosophers by the Ommegang Brewery - another 10% Belgian.  Almost a barley wine.  Excellent.

ETA: That's a Belgian beer glass, the way you're supposed to drink 'em.

Looks like the hammer's down on the 1911.  -1 for that.

Still, nicely done.

That looks like a good beer. I am myself a fan of imports and micros. Domestics just taste like water to me now.

The beer glass alone should be EXTRA points, as I drink my quality beers in the proper glassware.  Granted it is not the branded version, but still a very nice piece that makes an excellent pour.

That type of glass is perfect for that style of beer.

Negative ghost rider.  Cocked, locked, ready to rock  She's got one in the chamber, and a full 8rd Wilson Mag full of some nice Winchester Ranger.

I'll agree with that.  When I have a girlfriend around to fluff the table (that I refinished myself from a milk white wash) I'll do that.  Until then, I'll be a reasonable 22yr old male with at least some sense of taste beyond Taco Bell and Keystone Light.

The steak, well, it could have been better.  For 11.99/lb it was not what I was expecting.  The last round (with a 16-18oz T-Bone) was amazing.  This ribeye left quite a bit to be desired honestly.  I'll go and see a good butcher this weekend or so if possible.

I stand corrected then.  10.

Ya know, I had a barley wine (Great Divide Brewing) sitting next to this one in the shelf.  Its been there for a while, probably will be included in the next Dinner Pic Thread though.

If I can find Three Philosophers I'll try it.  Being in TX we have some nice selections, but the Belgians only come out (in full force) during the colder months.  I've offered to trade/swap/etc beer with people from all over on other forums, just haven't accomplished that yet.

Ouch!  I'll give you that -1 though.  I do not own a Surefire.  Its on my list of things to get, since I can not find my flashlight here.  I do have a 5 D cell maglight in the truck that was keyed last night... link

But a pocketable surefire is coming.  A close friend has a few nice ones.

I'm not much for salad honestly.  Its iceberg with some carrots/red onion and an italian/baslmic/something/something dressing.  I'm fine with simple iceberg and regular italian though.

As stated above, the "girly" glass is the correct type of glass to serve a Belgian in, and the only way to enjoy it fully.

heh, my grandparents gave those to me when I moved out.  Not the nicest looking thing, but I'm grateful that they were willing to give me something to help out.

Your welcome. Sorry about that, I had to nitpick something

J/K it was obvious you went to a lot of trouble to arange your guns and not to mention the food, I should have said the pics didnt do justice to your setup.
Oh I don't take offense to anything really.  I nitpick the hell out of dinner threads (not as bad as some, but enough) so I understand the reasoning.

-1 for beer I cant even pronounce then
Hell I probably don't pronounce it correctly.  Un - eh - brew or une - eh - brow, or similar.  I'd probably go with the later as its more of a French name.

Its nice to see a few ARFcommers that know beer and proper glassware, it gives me some hope for us all.
