Plenty of do nothing bills that will get clobbered in the Senate.

You remember how the President was unable to push anything substantive through the Congress over the last six years? Well, expect more of the same for the next two...after '08, all bets are off.

after that who knows.

not trying to be smart ass just why worry what you can't change? their agenda doesn't care what you want. they don't care what is best for the country. they are only interested in their own "power" so live your life as best you can, do what makes you happy (legally) and know that your countrys future is no longer in your hands, politics is illusion and you have no "real" hand in it, any more than you can influence what I'm going to have for lunch.

Democrats typically only get half of what they want.  Thats why the Assault Weapons Ban only banned new rifles with some features and expired in 10 years.  Republicans don't seem to get much of anything because the Republicans in office are wimps.

Yep, and now the Dhimmis are going to try and do to the Republicans what the Republicans should have done to them for the last six years.

Nothing is going to get done except a bunch of media talking heads whining about the chimpymechitlerburtonrethuglicans for the next two years and then we'll see.
