Apparently kids are now getting high off of noises and images that alter your brain waves, its a whole new trend called digital drugs. There is supposed to be a youtube video out there that can get you high, I've been looking for it but can't find it. Maybe one of you guys can.

If I had to guess, I'd say its the same phenom that causes freshman to appear drunk after you "mixed" their drink without any alcohol in it.

I think the Jefferson Airplane invented that back in the 60's but it was analog.

It takes all of about 2 minutes to find some idose mp3s and try it yourself.  It doesn't do shit.  You should be more worried about alcohol, if at all.  It was much easier for me to get than any other drug when I was under the legal drinking age.

If it isn't Jesus or Budweiser, it should be illegal.

Any time you read a news story about a "new trend" about which you can find no information anywhere besides the feverish attention of some journalism school dropout, no such trend exists. I tried that iDoser stuff, it's a bunch of dog shit. The reporter is a halfwit moron, the parents are quarterwit morons, and this whole thing is a bunch of grade-A extra large triple-fine bull shit.

I'm of the opinion that anything reported as being as a "trend" by a reporter is a thing which simply never takes place anywhere, ever.

Its bullshit. I didn't get high. I did get a head ache though, and annoyed by the random beeps and buzzes.

They do, but it's less white noise and more moaning

They have videos that give you a boner.  That was pretty much  the first kind they invented.

Time for this thread again?

Binaural beats. Yes, they work. No, they don't make you "high". What they do allow you to do is drop your brain into Alpha, Beta, Theta, Delta, or Gamma. It's good for relaxing and it's good for dream work (such as initiating lucid dreaming).

Paying money for pre-recorded audio is silly when there's good free software that lets you customize the experience.
