As the new commander of the Unified Militia Commands Ordnance Department, you have determined that it isn't enough to have Militia Units armed only with Battle Rifles.
Instead units should have a good mix of weaponry that includes Assault Rifles that shoot an intermediate cartridge, for recon teams and CQB.

Your job is to pick out the best Assault Weapon chambered in a 22 cal cartridge.

Good Luck!

Either a Hesse AR or a good SAR AK type rifle, this way the militia guys will already own the guns and won't need to try and get them. Maybe a SKS.

How many of those rifles listed are currently being imported to or produced in the US for civilian use?

Of that list, two of the rifles (G36 and 550) are select fire, and the others are semi-auto.

I think the HK G36 is the superior weapon, because it's lighter and requires little cleaning (25,000 rounds without a failure to fire/jam/failure to extract with no cleaning).  But it's somewhat delusional if you think you'd get enough of them into the country.  You're going to be stuck with what is in country, and that's AR15's and scavenged M16's from the enemy.  Also, who would repaire the weapons damaged in the field?  Only one rifle on that list has fairly ubiquitous repair parts in the US.

God Bless Texas
