I'm not sure what to think about it.  I've enjoyed the series, but this looks like a repeat of the first one.

Die Hard 5: John McClane is in a cab in Manhattan, when it's taken over by terrorists.

He manages to hide in the glove compartment as the hostages are being rounded up.

He then spends an hour and twenty minutes taking the war to them.

And, he only has 58 minutes to save the day, as that's when his flight from LaGuardia leaves for Miami, where he's going on vacation with his wife, Shirley Muldowney.
Link Posted: 10/4/2012 9:10:03 AM EDT
It's fake.

I find that you get used to it with time.  It's really a remarkable day when you DON'T see a car on fire flip over.

There is no possible way that is real.  Im 90% sure I saw some of those preview clips in other (non die hard) movies.

The safe blowing in OP's trailer is from Oceans 11.

Obvious fake  . . .  I hope.  If not, short the stock of the relevant studio.

ETA:  The real trailer doesn't look much better, but it is higher budget

Was filmed in Budapest. I was there on a work assignment and got to see the chaos and closed city streets.

If Patrick Stewart is involved, you know it has to be quality all the way.  This will prove it:

It's not due out for another 4 months, they can shoot some quick pickups and slide them into the final cut.
