i was too young to vote in '84.

i did, however, canvass door to door with my kiddie-PAC 'kids for reagan'. IIRC, we raised something like $30 and some cookies.

No, I did not. I voted for John Anderson in 1980 and Mondale in 1984. I never liked Reagan, and I also have a tradition of voting against incumbents.

First vote I ever cast was in 1984 for Reagan's reelection. I was so eager to go register so I could vote for him. I feel bad for my son...his first vote will be between Trump and Clinton.

Yes both times!

I was young and pretty stupid thinking Reagan was the start of something good. The first step in a line of conservative Presidents who would turn back the liberals. When the George Bushes got elected I figured we'd get some changes towards the betterment and especially after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
