I wore out the tape in my car cassette player. KICK was an awesome album, beginning to end.

I was born in the 80's so I didn't get to party in the greatest decade ever, but INXS sounds like it would have been a hell of a band to party to..

Way back when sure I listened to them, on the radio. I never purchased any of their stuff.

Shame that Michael Hutchence killed himself though.

They'll give you what you need.

How many times do you have to be told. It is only gay if the balls touch.

For me that song perfectly captures the excitement of the early '80s.

Still have the Listen Like Thieves disc.
Still listen to it.

I worked for a local bay area band in the mid 80's that opened for them at the old Kabuki Theater in SF. The band I worked for pretty much got booed off the stage but INXS was really on top of their game and played a great show. They guys were great, very cool. Their crew were a bunch of guys that looked like a pro rugby team. Needless to say there was a fucking epic after-show party.

Only band ive ever seen in concert - Nov 1993.  I was 17; feel old now.
Link Posted: 11/3/2015 11:32:24 PM EDT
Saw their third to last concert. I think I was 9-10.
Link Posted: 11/3/2015 11:52:27 PM EDT
I like them.  Damn, good memories are coming back as I listen to the clips above.  I was a teenager in the 80s.  A lot of great music & not a care in the world, a great decade to be a teen.  I'd give almost anything to relive the 80s, knowing what i know now of course...

BTW, getting old sucks...
Link Posted: 11/3/2015 11:52:55 PM EDT
I liked some stuff I'd hear on the radio, but never went to their shows or bought their albums.
Link Posted: 11/3/2015 11:59:17 PM EDT
They had some decent songs, but what an embarrassing way to go.
Link Posted: 11/3/2015 11:59:52 PM EDT
I was never a fan.
Link Posted: 11/4/2015 7:15:24 AM EDT
saw them live (1983) fantastic concert, Michael Hutchence was quite the frontman.
Link Posted: 11/4/2015 7:25:11 AM EDT
Liked the band.

Saw them live in 1988 while I was going to college in Maryland.

John Lydon's Public Image Ltd.  opened for them. Both bands were great live.

My favorite INXS song as well, but they had a lot of great hits.
