No.

No. But he's actually a pretty good actor when he's not trying to be funny.

His Live 2002 is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Right up there with Eddie Izzard "Dressed to Kill," Eddie Murphy "Delirious, and Richard Pryor "Live on Sunset"

Perhaps because he was found dead this morning?

He had his moments, but his over the top routine got old fast for me.
And I agree, very good actor too.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:09:12 PM EDT
I enjoyed watching and listening to him.

This, never found his style of humor all that funny but he did a pretty good job of acting which often surprised me.

I thought he was good in good morning vietnam.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:11:02 PM EDT
Real classy OPs the last 30 mins.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:11:39 PM EDT
No, I honestly didn't.
In fact if he was in a movie, I didn't watch it. His humor annoyed me for some reason.

It's a shame he's dead however.

He was an amazingly talented man. Moonbat libtard, but very talented. RIP Mork.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:13:16 PM EDT
Yes his stand up stuff was great.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:13:22 PM EDT
Again
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:13:53 PM EDT
His stand up was piss your pants funny.

His movies never captured the mania and variety of his stand up, so if you know Robin Williams only from his movies or Mork from Ork then you have not seen the true Robin Williams.

Yes.

He was funny and a great actor. The guy also did ALOT of USO shows.

Good in my book.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:14:59 PM EDT
In his prime, yes.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:15:56 PM EDT
I hated his act. On the screen and at USO shows. Never found him funny after Garp.

What Dreams May Come was my favorite movie of his. Never cared for his comedy.

yes mork & mindy was funny as hell
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:18:25 PM EDT
Found him funny when he was doing his standup routines, not when he kept trying to be over the top when doing everything else. At times it was like he didn't know when to turn it off. When he settled down and was a little more serious he was actually a decent actor.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:18:59 PM EDT
I remember watching Mork and Mindy with a bunch of other Marines on the barrack's tv when it first came out and we thought he was hilarious. I also think his first comedy special for [ I think HBO] was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Personally I would rank him right up there with all the other greats when he was in his prime.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:19:06 PM EDT
Early on yes. Later not so much.

Yes, I found Robin Williams funny.

Heck of an actor, too.

RIP, Mr. Williams.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:21:01 PM EDT
Yes, I always thought he was a funny man and a great actor.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:21:16 PM EDT
Live at the Met, from the 1980's, really crazy and funny, some of his best work. RIP.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:21:31 PM EDT
One of the best stand up performances I ever had the pleasure of attending.

RIP
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:21:39 PM EDT
hes not dead
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:21:46 PM EDT
He came out to ENTERPRISE in 2003 (or 2006, can't remember) when we were in the Gulf. Was nice to the crew and did a standup routine which everyone loved. This news sucks.

RV was a hoot. Impromptu? Not much.

twas a hoax
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:22:21 PM EDT
I think he was very funny. Sad to see him go like that.

Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:22:41 PM EDT
Just never cared for him.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:22:44 PM EDT
Nanu Nanu
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:23:07 PM EDT
Great actor and I thought one of his best was Awakenings and Deniro showed he could do anything with that one.
It was his over the top antics that made him funny, when he was on a roll he was brilliant.
Link Posted: 8/11/2014 3:24:09 PM EDT
Yes, RIP

I think his serious roles were better.

Like the movies Awakenings and Dead Poets Society
