I was flipping through channels when I landed on AMC, there was this documentary about conservatives in hollywood. There was this guy interviewing Drew Carey, and basically, Carey said he supported the war in Iraq, and he said he had guns in his house. I just think its kinda rare seeing an actor saying this. I wonder if he owns any EBRs.

I always used to watch the Drew Carey Show, I always found it to be pretty funny. I remember an episode where Lewis's mom said something like "for my birthday, lewis converted all of my semi-automatic rifles to full-auto"

If I remember right he does have an EBR. Ill have to dig it up again. It was in an interview months ago.

Think he leans libertarian.

Loved the show when Memie took him to the dump to blast stuff as a method of blowing off some steam.

Carey is a former Marine Corps reservist.

I only knew that he had something to do with rocking Cleveland.

he was in the Marine reserves too.

I thought you were going to say something like Drew Carey likes to have sex while standing upside down on a slip-n-slide with a banana balanced on his nose.

And where did Carey learn to shoot?

In the Marine Corps!

Outstanding!

Drew is a Marine. Hard to believe?

I thought Marines didn't have a sense of humour.

here is something..

Do you still own guns?
Yeah, of course. I have them for protection.

Any assault rifles?
They're all assault rifles--I don't make the distinction. You still have to pull the trigger and point it at someone, whether it's a shotgun or an AK-47. They're all made for killing people, so I don't make the differentiation.

Yes, he is a funny guy.

He likes hookers too

I've never seen a whole episode, but I saw the very tail end of one where he said something like "I love this job!" and the camera pulled away and shows him blasting away with a big old handcannon at a shooting range. That really got my attention, but I have no idea what was going on or what the episode was about.

It is only my sense of humor that keeps me from killing you for saying that.

After learning Maurice Gibb of the BeeGees had a massive HK collection (found out right before he died, we had a paintball gaime scheduled) I stopped presuming things about people.

Gotta make it to the top in that shit hole Hollywood before announcing you're conservative. Otherwise you're black-listed and black-balled.

Drew Kerry was a member of the same fraternity I was in while in college -- Delta Tau Delta.

Also, so was John Elway. Which leads to a funny story: Back in 94 I was an the Eagles "Hell Freezes Over" tour at Fiddlers Green (now Coors Amphitheater) and low and behold, here comes John Elway and his (now ex) wife. I was wearing my letters, and yelled at him, and the guy comes over and slips me the secret hand shake. So we're shooting the shit, and the I can tell the women in my vicinity are getting a major vibe out of the fact I'm talking with Elway, when all the sudden his bitch of a wife comes up and say: "Lets go. I dealt with your frat brothers enough in college."

Geez.

If Drew Carey has an AR-15, I wonder if it has a free floating barrel? I wonder if its mil-spec at that? I wonder if he prefers 55gr rounds or 62?
