Watching msnbc the other night.  they were covering the coroner's office and somone was shot with a .223

The narrator said, "despite a 1994 ban on these types of guns, there are still bla bla bla number of them in the U.S."

Can you imagine having an employee that wrote an important script for you and the basis of information is titles of laws rather than context?  YOU ARE FIRED!!!!!!!  only on tv i guess

They would like people to believe that they are banned, because they would like for them to be banned.

Come on, since when was the news ever objective.  That "mistake" was a well calculated one.

Even though a .223 projectile could have come from any number of guns (single shot T/C contender for example) it makes for a better drama if it came from one of those evil "assault weapons."  Remember, statistically, "assault weapons" are really a non-issue in violent crime statistics.  The libs have to use emotion and scare tactics to convince the sheeple that more needs to be done to rid the world of these instruments of death and destruction.  Also, remember that the sunset and possible renewal of the AW ban is only 2 years away.  They're getting started early, trying to scare all the sheeple to publically support a renewal of the ban.

F-ing libs!
