they seem to be moving from being completely clueless to being aware that they are clueless...
but they still remain clueless. they need to simply make peace with the NRA across the board. in many ways i don't like bush but i support the nra and will vote accordingly. |

So accodording to DLC/AGS, 67% of gun owners support the renewal of the AWB ?? [rolleyes]

Any one else notice that AGS claims not to support registration; but in the next sentence goes "but look, our polling shows you could pull it off with this strategy"?
Saying that to the Dems is like saying "Drugs are bad; but there is a big syringe of heroin next to you" to a drug addict. |

This is more of the same horseshit that invariably prompts the dem nominee to have himself photographed shooting ducks the last week of the October before the general election. The idea isn't to change their program in order to put libertarians/gun people in serious play, it's to [b]LIE[/b] however much it takes to knock a handful over the fence. It worked on me - once.

Howard Dean is taking their approach yet polls show him getting clobbered by Bush. And then they go on to say they will help the GOP with the assault weapons ban. IDIOTS! THE AWB IS ONE OF THE REASONS THE REPUBLICANS TOOK OVER IN 1994! CRC |
