The rules of the debate were no messages from their staffers during the debate. She clearly took the message on the phone. She now says she fired the staffer but the bottom line is she knew the rules and broke them.

Sorry I suck at embedding video.

Alex Sink cheated during the debate

If you watched the debate, you may have noted Rick Scott accusing the Alex Sink campaign of slipping her a note against the rules. He's correct. Violating their mutual agreement against notes, Sink makeup artist came in during a commercial break and showed her a phone with a message...

In her defense; who can say she was intentionally cheating ? Your staffer puts the phone in front of you, who among us wouldn't look? Could have been a message about anything, a family emergency, whatever. To her credit she fired the staffer responsible immediatlly after the debate.

There is no defense for that, if it is a family emergency she would have said so.

And it was fucking great the way Scott called her out on it right after the break.

More and more the Dems are showing themselves to be nothing more than prompter-reading puppets to a corporate socialist crony-elite.

Anyone that watches the tape.

She knew the rules. If she had looked away it would'a been one thing, but she read it AND USED WHAT SHE READ LATER IN THE DEBATE.

They say they fired the staffer but there is no way to confirm it as they refused to release "his" name.  The female that brought the message to her was the facilitator of the cheating.

This.  If your staff feeds you info when the rules prohibit this, you state in a clear manner "I'm sorry, although I agree this is a very important issue, it would be improper of me to answer any questions regarding this topic.  It appears that a member of my staff has placed some information regarding this topic in front of me, in violation of the rules of the debate."

He should have said something about it at the time... Dealing with it like he did made it look weak on his part... Like a tattle-tale...

Yeah, she cheated... And when he pointed it out, at the time, they made it look like nothing was up, which was kind of funny... If the moderators didn't want to do anything about it, he should have let it go...

The funny thing is that *he* is going to get more mileage from this from the internet after the fact than he did *in* the debate anyway...

Fox is running it just about every hour.  Bet they will have it on the evening shows.  He did say something about it during the commercial break and it is reported that the Iphone was confiscated.

I don't think so. Rick Scott is pretty popular in South Florida (where the numbers are). In the Tallahassee, the liberal center of the North end of the State. They hate him. But then again it is democrat country there. FSU, TCC, FAMU, etc....

I believe that Rick Scott will be my next governor.

I sure hope you're right. I have some uneasy feelings about Scott, but I absolutely hate Sink. She would be terrible!

Dont want to see Sink in office ,but I hope he dosen't burn his time as governor (if he wins) to the ground with further allegations of financial mis-management ,or questionable dealings.

I see a lot more Scott signs around my part of Orlando than I do Sink signs. I think with a solid Republican turnout that is expected he'll win by a small margin.
