ISO was set at 1600 f/3.5 @ 15 seconds. |

Thanks. I am tentatively planning on heading to Yosemite myself next spring. I know it's insanely crowded any time the weather is halfway decent, but I want to see it at least once. |

I am planning on going back sometime in August or September. I only got to see the valley since everything was closed due to snow. You will love it out there. |

I will be in Yellowstone in June and Alaska in August, which should close out the travelling portion of my year, financially.  I was thinking that we could take our annual family trip next June out Yosemite way though...fly into Vegas, rent a car and do the whole Death Valley-King's Canyon-Sequoia-Yosemite thing in 10 days or so. |

I use the Canon 5D and a 2 million watt spot light for some of the night time shots. Only post processing I have done on these would be adjusting the levels and a little dodging. No cloning from another shot or mixing images. Straight shots. Here is one I did from Yellowstone. No moon, 2 million watt spot light. 20 seconds at f/2.5 iso set at 1600 The highlights were increased with the levels in photoshop. Otherwise its a straight shot.
