Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Date & Time of Last Login

How does the system know the date and time of a registered users last login?  Is the information stored at the ar15 site, or is it stored on the users computer/proxy server?

Even after I delete my local cookies/temp files, etc., the site still recognizes when I was there last.  This leads me to believe that the info is either stored as a cookie on my proxy server, or at the site.

It stores the date in both a cookie on your client (in case you dont log in) and then in your profile if you have logged in and we can regonize ya.
