I can't stand light beer. I think it was created for women[:D] I like Michelob, budweiser and Amber Bock. I haven't had to much German beer. I'll have to get some[beer]

I'm lucky to have a great bar not to far away. I has 90 taps of different beer. Mostly micro-brews from all over the world. Sometimes a dark beer is nice, sometimes a lager, or pale ale. Just like, sometimes a 24" barrel is nice, sometimes a 16". [;)]

I like whatever it is I felt like making. Not really sure what color (dark or light) it'll be until a month after I boil and bottle it...[:D]

Specifically, I like COLD beer. Actual brand/flavor changes with the mood...

I've discovered Sam Adams lately, great stuff. Personally I try to now avoid the "skunk" beers: Heiniken, etc.

I will go out on a limb here, but after 25 years of drinking beer, I'm at the point where I prefer mostly German lagers. I'm getting tired of starchy, young micros. The German beers seem to be more refined and less likely to cause gastrointestinal discomfort.

Light beer is like making love in a canoe.... It's f***in' close to water.

Warsteiner is Good. A friend has it on tap! [:)] a friend we were helping build his deck, provided Bud Lite [puke] it was "THIN" and watered down, in comparison IMHO[:(]

My normal beer is Icehouse. If I go out and can find it I'll jump at a Hacker Pschorr or Spaten Fransikanner.Very fine German beers.

I am actually partial to cream ales like Killians, but since you didn't include that option - I would vote for lighter beers. In fact, I think draft Fosters is probably one of my faves.
