I was thinking about putting a tool bench down there. I was wondering will the tools rust?

I plan on putting a vice drills taps you know gun smithing stuff.

Yeah uhh It is unfinished and it use to flood. We put a pump in the ground and the pump drains it before it can get at floor level. I smashed a hole in the floor dug down 2 feet droped it in rain a line to the sewer and that was it.

Yeah uhh It is unfinished and it used to flood. We put a pump in the ground and the pump drains it before it can get at floor level. I smashed a hole in the floor, dug down 2 feet, dropped it in rain a line to the sewer and that was it.

My basement is damp, too, even with the sump pump. I store some tools down there, but they're up where it's not as wet. Most of my stuff is in the garage or the mud porch.
