So I finally got one. Its a newly new S&W MP .45 and four magazines for $450. Not a great price but off the books and I already had a buyer lined up for it. I ran 150 rounds of my 230g lead reloads through it without a problem. It was accurate as hell, frighteningly so. I was shooting off hand at about 10 yds and the bulls eye repeatedly disappeared. I knew if I ever shot one I'd get stuck with it. So that's one more thing I can't trash talk anymore. Wait Wait- trigger is just a little rough but it was smoothing out toward the end,

Yeah, my M&P9 trigger took about 200 rounds to turn from gravelly to smooth as glass.
Now it's my favorite nine.

I don't have a M&P but I do have and frequenty carry a G19. I love the 15 rd. mag and it has been swiss-watch reliable. It is by a long shot of the least expensive guns I own and one of my favorites.

One of these days I'm going to buy a .45 to finish out my 9/.357/.40 collection. It just might be a Glock, too.

love my MP9, NO issues with ~2000rds through it

That's a pretty good price especially with the extra mags. I love my M&P .45.

Thanks for the comments. I've been shooting BHPs and 1911s for thirty years but this gun is a fast natural pointer, balanced, no muzzle flip, and extremely accurate. Once I figured out sight alignment it was embarrassingly easy to knock the center out of the bulls eye.
