I don't know why you guys waste your time over there. Everything you read over there is 100% BS. The only time the truth comes out is when the let it slip through extreme frustration.

They only support free speech, RKBA and every other right for people who agree with them! They have no interest in debate, freedom or America. They yap about Bush being a dictator, but the DU'ers would love to turn this country into a left-wing dictatorship.

I like to walk the fine line at DU, posting vague and generally pointless comments, almost, but not quite useless enough to get banned.

(btw, every board I've ever been on, including many having nothing to do with firearms, makes great sport of going over to DU and getting them all spun up... not that I would EVER recommend doing such a thing myself...

It's really not that hard not to get banned from DU.

You have to strictly abide by the written code of conduct (unless you are MrBenchley).

You have to avoid violating a few unwritten rules too, like never saying "Gore lost the 2000 election. Get over it!"

I LOATHE Mr. Benchley. And how he can say any damned thing he wants to. At DU, they have one code of conduct: Be liberal. Any other behavior will be banned.

If you were there, I was Socialist_Gunowner, spouting how I had been turned into a libertarian and was defending the parts of the platform I mentioned. It was damned funny until I was banned. It only took me 15minutes...

I go to DU when I'm feeling down and low, because nothing lifts your spirits like reading a bunch of SERIOUSLY demented paranoid people prattling about like mindless dolts talking about hating bush. Makes me feel all better about myself.

I've been banned there more than once, simply for posting facts or points contradicting the topic starter, or one of the other DUmmies. Not even using offensive nics or language. Just straight Truth, and it annoyed some people so badly they immediately mashed down the Alert button.
Longest I've lasted with one ID is 2 days and 15 posts.

I cited the 69% BUSH against 29% Gore 2000 election results.
