I wore a full suit for 9 years as required by my employer. Haven't worn one in my new job since 12 years. Going to a coat and tie required event.
But damn it feels good and looks good. It feels damn good, I miss that. I own the room without the suit. But damn i look good. Thankfully my fav tie was still tied. After 10 years you forget how to do it. |

Suits are expensive. If my employer expected me to wear a suit everyday, they'd better pay me a lot, or provide a suit allowance.

Fuck that shit.
I went from suit and tie to jeans and T shirts. Never going back. Then again, I've never proclaimed that I owned a room. I've never used an Internet forum to stroke my ego either... |

I seem to recall a song about that.
Some one help me out here. "sharped dressed man" |

Don't forget to give mom a kiss on your way out of the basement and to your event....

How do you wear a suit daily for years, and in 10 years not wearing one, forget how to tie a tie?
Shit, I had to wear a tie last year for my grandpa's funeral, and I hadn't worn a tie in about 10 years. It's like riding a bike. |

Thread did not go as OP thought it would. Op has vacated the building lol.

Suits are dumb. I don't own one. I've borrowed a few for some job interviews but that's it. Didn't even wear one at my wedding.
I own 3.ties. Two are clip ins for work I wear for court. The other one I keep tied and rarely wear it, maybe once ever 5 years |

Dude I'm a blue collar, jeans and t shirt worker. I own 1 suit, it's Armani. If I want, not need,to wear a suit, I'm wearing that fucker. I like to dress because I don't get to do it often, and it feels good. That said, I can tie 3 necktie knots and a bow tie since 13 from memory( church upbringing )

Op did you have a vest under your suit jacket?
That's the only way I truly feel like a sharp dressed man |

Never felt better in any suit than my Dress Blues. After that, everything is meh.

I love wearing a suit. Just don't have that much occasion for one. Probably a good thing since I bought most of them when I was 50 lbs. heavier.
