Question for you LEO types. In many of those pictures, the cops are "putting hands on" the protestors. Why not just break out a tazer like they have in several well-documented cases recently? I thought tazing was safer for everyone involved than was wrestling with them. Does the NYPD just have different "use of force" rules?

Ask wave about their policy but, i know if we had that sort of crowd in my city with cameras EVERYWHERE.. i doubt we could get away with lighting up every rowdy moron. Not good PR that's for sure. And we've had a couple of guys here take 3or 4 hits before they comply. The M-26 is not the answer to non-lethal force by any means. It's just merely another option. JMO

All that I can say is that if this kinda shit had of happened at the DNC we would have never heard the end of it.
Pussies can dish it out but have proven time and time again they can't handle it.....  PS, wearing a disguise (ie mask) while protesting should be a big no no....Fine should be a P38 to the noggin..  ....overhand..follow through boys...

So during the last 75 years, just WTF did the Republicans do that the world needs saving from? Liberate France? Bring down the Berlin Wall and re-unite Germany? Destroy the Soviet Union? Save a pile of Muslims in Bosnia and Mogadishu? Give more money for AIDS treatment than the rest of the world combined? Get shit on by everyone else on the planet on a daily basis and keep coming back for more? |
