I'm not usually one to post something like this, but I'm freaking out a little.
I just got a call from my Uncle telling me my Dad Wrecked his motorcycle and is being flown to a hospital upstate. I'm freaking out because I've had a severe lack of sleep for the past 3 days due to illness and my minds not working right. I took an ambien right before I got the phone call and now I'm in a sad/moody/angry type deal... and I can't sleep. I'm really worried about my dad, but I can't go see him, and I cannot speak cohereantly enough to talk on the phone... So now I'm just kind of sitting here... half asleep, freaking out weather or not my dads alright... fuck... I really hope he's alright.

Call a cab or friend to drive you to the hospital. Taking drugs and driving is a way to end up in the room next to your Dad.

I pray your Dad will be okay.
About fifteen years ago a lifelong friend of my father's was killed on one. Our families used to go on vacations together when I was a boy, and the guy was like an uncle to me almost. |
