Okay, so I just got my application in the mail for this job.
In January I got turned down for county Detention Officer, I have a few more months before I can re-apply for that job.
I have been a volunteer for almost 2 years for the county Sheriff's Office.

Thats my current situation, should I go for the DPS job until I am old enough to apply for a real LE job, or wait out Detention, or stay at the bank I work at?

Part 2,
The motorist assistance position requires 1 year of "automotive service"
Would my 1 semester in high school be enough to be considered enough for that qualification.

I also work on my own vehichles, since before I was driving.

I am more than qualified for the job but I am a but unsure if they will see that without the solid 1 year.
Anyone know?
