I was driving home this morning, when my engine cuts off as i'm rolling down A1A. I have been needing to change the fuel filter, and had been putting it off for a while... So, I pull off to the side, and open the hood to do an emergency fuel filter change (The thing was totally clogged) I had my Glock 20 and a spare mag on at the time. The mag was positioned in such a fashion that it kept hitting getting in the way... So, I took it out, and set it on the hoods ledge. When I was all done, I slammed the hood down, forgetting the mag was there, and completley trashed it. C-R-U-N-C-H! 15 rds of RBCD ammo and post ban hi-cap mag gone- [:(] I was too disgusted to even pick up the ammo.

Bummer dude. The obvious solution is to buy two more to replace the one lost.

I pay $25 a pop for the mags... Not to mention the ammo is $1 per boom. Still. Try going outside and taking a $20 and a $5 bill, throw them into the wind, and tell me you wouldn't be annoyed as the money flutters away.

I wouldn't have had to worry about a 1911 mag becuase if I were using a 1911, I would have been driving a horse and carriage. So, are you saying you drive a Ferrari to go with your Glock?
Link Posted: 8/5/2002 7:43:25 AM EST
LOL! Nope. I don't drive a Ferrari. But, according to the 1911 clowns logic, the horses are better in a road race since they are an older technology (THey call it "proven" instead of "older", but all the 1911 has proven up to this point is that it's inferior to the Glock)

sorry about your tactical tupper wear. just don't slam anymore magazines in the hood. i bet it will also crack the pistol frame. i shoot a 1911 for two reasons. only pistol with a "glass rod breaking" trigger (single stage) and it is made of iron and wood.

True, true. Those Iron 1911's are far superior to the steel ones.

That's not saying a lot if your portfolio is anything like mine.[V] So McUzi, you got CO, huh? Good thing...Maryland and D.C. BLOW. When you say post-ban high caps, are you talking about the L.E. ones?

Still in FL. I was just south of J-Ville on A1A, right before you hit PV from St. Aug. I will be moving to CO in Feb.. I got the big transfer-ola.

It was a postban, so whatever. I have 7 FML 3rd Gen Pre-Bans... Wanna talk about Not Cheap? 3rd Gen "Racing Stripe" PB 20's are definitley the most expensive Glock mag there is. They are absolutley impossible to find. Never on Gunbroker. Never on Auctionarms. Even 2nd Gen FML Glock 20 Pre-Bans are darn near impossible. Anyway, about printing- I am pretty fat, so I can conceal my 20 pertty easily. But I have been losing a lot of weight lately, so it's getting harder.
