Other than the shoe-box or oatmeal-can pinhole cameras that we've probably all made (you HAVE made a pinhole camera at one point, right?), has anyone ever done anything along the lines of building their own camera?


I've got the opportunity to pick up a lensboard, lens, and a few 4x5 film holders pretty cheap, so I'm thinking about building my own viewcamera.  Just wandering if anyone has done anything similar.
