Sheesh...that happened to me seven years ago. When I got home from work one day, my missus asked me if I remember my old G/F "Peg"? SHIELDS UP! "Ummm...yea...I do...so what?" (Damn right I did! Any time...any where
 .)I carefully inquired...why she wanted to know and she proceeded to tell me that the lady had called her during the day from Kalifornistan. In fact, my missus happily told me that the two ladies had spent about an hour chatting...and becoming fast friends. Guess they had something in common? They spent the time blabbing about kids, grandkids and our past in general. I had forgotten that Miz LWilde knew "about" this old flame...but she had never met her. She then told me that Peg and her hubby were coming to DC for a business trip...(He was a GS-14 with the FAA.) and how about we get together. So...we did. Thank God my old G/F looked as old and grandma-like as I'm an old grandpa. Had she still been in great shape and hot...I might have had problems just because!  We now communicate about every day by mail. Brings back some great memories. When I was deployed in 1968/69, she used to send me the craziest letters in BRIGHT ORANGE stationery with tons of perfume. I caught a lot of flak over those letters. I mentioned it to her...and she remembered and laughed...she did it on purpose...just because she could. Womenz have a mean streak in them.

I had got a call from a buddy I went to school with, we were talking deer hunting, very important stuff. Well she had called him, last night, trying to find some people, thats how she got my number..... Damn, she was actually looking for me, damn, just cant figure that one out.....

Same here. I've been lucky- every time they've had a reunion, I've been in a foreign country! They've stopped calling since then. Whew!

Man--that's wierd, I got a call just like that 2 days ago myself, from this gal I dated 22-23 years ago. Last time I saw her was about 19 yrs ago...wierd.
She said she got my number from my mom about 4 years ago and just decided to call and say hi etc. I know she has 2 kids, oldest is starting high school (couldn't be mine) Just a guess, but I bet she's: (a) divorced (b) fat (c) broke (d) psychotic ETA:psycho |
