Got to love surefire customer service.

They sent me out a new tail cap ASAP when mine was giving me problems.

Even better is that they build their stuff hell-for-stout and you don't have to use their customer service that often!

(LOTS of SureFire lights in my family and none have had problems... knock on wood!)

Yup, had a 6 month old G2 tail cap go out and a new one is on its way.

Never used there customer service, but they make some terrific flashlights.

I wonder if customer service will cover the E1e that I lost in a Chinese restaurant a few months ago?

Yup, I had a probelm with my 10X handle/battery (not cheap). They shipped out a new one right away and didn't even want the old one returned. That is what you expect when you pay top dollar for something, but that is also why I have no problem doing it.

Surefire also gives a 25% military discount if you buy directly from them. I think they do it for LE too. The only company I know that beats that is Wiggy's.

Good deal.

I've got a streamlight 20 SLX LED that the butt cap broke on. They said ship the butt cap back to them. I did this about a month ago and still didn't get one back. I asked if they could send me a butt cap and I would send them mine in the pkg that theirs came in. They said no dice.

Now I have a $100.00 paperweight.

I use my lights nightly.

I'll probably not buy another streamlight.

Does surefire make a plastic duty light?

I too have had good experiences with them.

i like surefire. the lights may be a little bit expensive, but they're worth it imo.

i've found that the G2's make excellent gifts...

I've had only positive experiences with them. Great to deal with.

I also had a good experience with Surefire regarding a laser that quit working.

companies like this are rare. i dont think that a lot of businesses realize that the generate a LOT of business by treating their customers well. case in point, i SPECIFICALLY went out and bought a Kel Tec SUB2000 because of how they handled TBS's KB. i am proud to spend my money on a company that actually takes care of their customers

Clicker endcap on my E1L Outdoorsman (a great pocket light) went TU after 3 months. One email and a package with a new cap arrived within a week. Great service.

Cool, that's the correct way to handle the situtation. Good on them.

In my experience, companies that have top notch products provide the best Customer Service.
They know their products are good and stand by it, hedging their bets that only a minority of customers will need to use it.

Companies offering subpar products have teribble customer service, maybe because they are swarmed with calls all the time because the product sucks.

Hmmmmm, I sent a defective light back to them, over a week ago, via USPS. USPS delivered it to them two days after I mailed it, yet Surefire says they cant find it. I gave them the conformation #, which they looked up, and it showed the delivery time and date. I was worried, but the Surefire fella I was speaking to said, "If theres a delivery confirmation number, and it shows the delivery here, then it just hasnt been logged into our system.". He said a bunch of people were on vacation.

Were you in the market for one or did you just buy it because of how they handled the kB?

If you just did it to support them you have entirely too much money.
