I almost cried at seeing those BAR's. Should we bomb the mofos for destroying our precious history?

On the bright side, since the demand is there, the manufacturers should be getting more orders now, which will help keep the industry alive.
Link Posted: 7/14/2002 9:47:32 PM EST
Those guns are all rusty and probably unsafe to fire in the first place. I guarantee you that the local police kept quite a few of the good ones. Why was Canada represented there?

If those BARs are not rusted through and through, I'm gonna get pissed!
Link Posted: 7/14/2002 10:35:58 PM EST
But get this; Brazil has recently reversed its prohibition of civilian ownership of firearms, since violent crime skyrocketed after guns were banned. They came to the conclusion that only law-abiding people turned in their guns, while criminals kept theirs. So, while this dog-and-pony show of a steamroller crushing guns looks bad, Brazil actually stepped AWAY from gun control.

What an ugly pathetic bunch of misguided pussies. I would have bought one of those rusted out BARs just to hang in my den.

They need to put criminals down inplace of the guns. Or... the people that authorized that 'crushing'.
Link Posted: 7/15/2002 3:44:48 AM EST
Those do look like the most rusty guns I've ever seen. Prolly a polly-tician photo op more than anything. Still, ONE of those BAR's SHOULD be hanging over my mantle, rather than getting crushed by Jocko the Steam Roller guy.

What a waste. Those weapons should be collected and distributed to the needy like food baskets. Being poor shouldn't mean you can't own a gun.

Ah, I think I'm going to throw-up now.

Look at the way that fag in the middle is holding that pistol. You know i always look on the bright side of these events,It should be noted that people with out guns will have a very hard time taking guns away from people who have guns [frag]

Leave it to a f#$king Greek Canadian to assist in the festivities. I don't understand what has happened to Greece. Greece used to be a center for private enterprise, especially shipping and smuggling [:D]. I'm sure people here have read Taki's wonderful columns in the NY Press Daily and Spectator (British version). He's by far one of my favorite writers. I wonder what happened to the British (and Canadians) as well....liberal democracy destroyed them I guess. themao [chainsawkill]

I don't know why they didn't just export them to the U.K., where there is no street crime 'cause guns are illegal. [rolleyes]

You beat me to it. These idiots don't realize that had they had sold them to US, they could have made some badly-needed money for their pathetic treasuries. Oh, well. I don't expect socialists to understand basic Capitalism.

Where can i get AR15's/M16's for a dime a dozen? HEll! i could really have an Arsenal. I doubt those M16's were truly unrepairable. A new stock set and finish were all they needed to be back in buisness. [:(] Is it wrong to hate those people? lib-Who would "buy that for a dollar"

Anybody ever seen the receiver of a BAR up close? The thing is a solid 10 pound block of steel, ain't no steamroller out there that could destroy a BAR receiver. Me thinks that we could just replace the furniture and maybe the barrels and have perfectly functional automatic rifles.
