he got knocked the fuck out by a head kick from Gonzaga.

looks like he also tore his knee possibly ankle up too.

Yes, that was a awesome fight!  

Kudos to Gabe Gonzaga for a great performance!

Did anyone else think it bullshit when they stood the fighters up just before the KO?  

Gonzaga was working and doing damage to CroCop and I think they knew CroCop was in trouble so they wanted to give him a chance to get that big left kick on Gonzaga's head.  Too bad the plan back fired and it was CroCop who took a left kick to the head...

Some great fights all around.But yeah,this is the second time CroCop has gotten KTFO by guy's that were primarily grapplers.Shit happens and at that level of competition a small mistake or complacency will cost you the fight.

Mirko Cro Cop kicked Gonzaga in the head so hard he warped space and time, causing the two of them to switch places at the point of impact. Thus Mirko knocked himself out.

No arguing that, but Sapp pretty much lets people punch him square in the face because he's usually too tired after about 30 seconds to move or keep his hands up. Watching him "fight" hurts my brain. He's just a side-show for all those japanese fans, a real-life Godzilla.

I wouldn't call CC overrated.....he really didn't look like himself tonight. I think he's lost his motivation and desire to fight. You don't see that same fire in his eyes that you saw during the Pride open weight GP.

He thinks streching and flexability is what makes you a good fighter.



Oh, and yes I do train in Jujitsu. The biggest weapon is your BRAIN, this is exactly what Gonzga used. CroCop never expected a high kick. It had nothing to do with flexability as any trained fighter should be able to kick head high.
