The Right Stuff just started on TCM, and it's 3+ hours long. I guess I'll sleep tomorrow night.

Yeah, I know. It's heavily fictionalized, but it's just a movie, right? The aerial photography is real nice, and I love the scene that features the German F-104 fast-taxiing. Too bad they didn't mock it up to look more like a real NF-104, but I'll enjoy it nonetheless.

One of my favs.

A good dose of the truth, sprinkled with just enough creative license to make it fun.

Really captures the spirit of the whole thing, doesn't it?  I always get a lump in my throat seeing Chuck walk off the lakebed with his chute in hand after the NF-104 crash.  I know that's not quite the way it happened but it still gets me.

I loved seeing Yeager behind the bar at Panchos.  Laughed my ass off when I saw it the first time in the theater.

I've got the boxed set, but I'm STILL up watching it!
