I grew up listening to Country, but I rebelled when Boot Scootin' Boogie and Achy Breaky Heart got played to death. I haven't cared about any Country made since. Now I listen to Classic Rock.

The sequins and poofy 'doos got replaced with bad lyrics, bad music and bad singers, generally speaking. I too have given up on country after having been a big fan for a few years. Classic rock has become my mainstay also, probably because I'm such an old fart.

And now that someone mentioned her, Reba's video of her blowing up her husband's boat with him on it didn't help. And let's not forget about "Fancy". |
