I've been sitting here for about 15 minutes... My toes are totally numb. I can't feel them at all... In a few minutes, the stinging is going to start.

If you passed out in the position I have been sitting in... and didn't wake up for like 3 days.... Could you suffer permanent injury?

PS: I didn't intentionally do this...

Happened to a woman at my work. She was recovering from a foot surgery when she hit her foot, fell down some stairs and was knocked unconscious with her legs folded up underneath her. When she awoke several hours later and called for am ambulance they discovered that her legs had been deprived of fresh blood for so long that they had to be amputated. Thats definitely an experiment I wouldn't want to try.

If you restrict or block off blood flow you can also get a blood clot which can be disabling or fatal.
