Nah, if you wanted to sabotage it you would have everything run perfectly on the front end, and have everything behind the scenes go to hell in 3-4 weeks...

Either/or      I just know if I were an IT contractor, and I saw what a crock of shit it was I could alter code here, and there, and make it appear as an oversight, or human error.


Edit to say if I was an IT contractor, and saw that my own HC costs were going to double, or triple.  Yeah I'd be pissed.
