Could TSA's x-ray machines catch you smuggling a summer sausage made by Taylor Meat Company from Taylor, Texas ?

If they did "catch" you ... what are their options ?

Not trying to start a movement to smuggle sausage across state lines ...

ETA - I did ask the X-Ray machine guy if I was exempt from a flu shot after passing through one headed to Shotshow.
