You only need to worry about it if your shooting Artillery miles away. To a Rifle shooter it's useless information.
Most of the shooters don't shoot good enough as it is.

Wouldn't N-S give you a shift left and right?

No. Shooting west the earth is rising up so you will hit low, and east the earth is falling out from under the bullet so it will hit high. Can be a moa or

10" at 1000 yards.

ETA: reversed those directions

Spin drift and wind would play a bigger factor at 1000.

The way to do spindrift is have the gun hit a few inches left at 500 and it will hit a few inches right at 1000.

my understanding it that it will cause a left and right shift however it is dependent on your latitude. East West drop is also dependent on latitude (shooting on the north or south pole will yield no effect on the bullets drop but it will effect the windage)
