Who is the coolest television character of all time?
My vote goes to Linc Hayes of "The Mod Squad" played by Clarence Williams III. He was "solid!" If anyone says Fonzie you will be hunted down and killed* * [b][red]DISCLAIMER:[/red][/b] Just a joke, not meant to be taken seroiusly |
FBI Special Agent Bill Maxwell, played by Robert Culp. Wore a t-shirt off-duty that said, "Happiness is a warm pistola!"

john wayne, in anything he was ever in
was gonna use him as my avatar before i saw somebody else already had by the way sukebe, now that you're a team member, go avatar shopping! |

The old guy that played The Equlizer.
It was his hidden "closet" that inspired me as a kid. BISHOP |
I vote for Kolshack the Nightstalker (if anyone here can remember that show).
Runner up's: Archie Bunker- no explanation needed Al Bundy- See above Bill Maxwell, (based on the t-shirt) Fred Sanford (if nothing else for going off on Aunt Ester) Joe Friday (every now and then Jack Webb had a good rant on the show) |
Age 5 to 8 Lone Ranger, Batman, & Bever Clever.
9 to 15 Keith Partridge, Starski & Hutch, Thomas Magnum. I'll add more after I've had time to mull it over. |
Captain James Tiberius Kirk.
Not only is he the coolest TV character, he is also the coolest White Man, ever, and he got all of the hotties, including the green one. |
Lt. Castillo "Miami Vice" He made a black suit look good years before Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.
Runner-up: Sonny Crockett "Miami Vice" A Ferrari, a sailboat and a pet alligator, not to mention cool threads. another runner-up: John Crichton "Farscape" |
From the short lived show"The tales of the Gold Monkey" would be "Jake Collins". He flew a Grumman anphib. in the South Seas and was among secret agents from most of the pre-war powers.
I was on a local TV station a few times for soccer and a comedy series a long time ago.
Can I vote for myself? [peep] |
... You are all wrong. Thomas Magnum (Tom Selleck) has that honor in my book.
