I think Turnagain Arm is one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on. I went down by the water to shoot my .45 baby Eagle there last year, while the tide was coming in, Dang. It came in so fast that I had to walk backwards while loading my mag! Later I saw a warning sign about not going down on the flats, & I could sure see why.
I hope heaven is a lot like Alaska.[:D]

Gotta love those Warbirds. I went to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola last week. Too bad all those babies can't still fly.

My grandfather used to maintain B-25s in the Pacific theatre during the war. I think he was a crew cheif. He was a pilot himself (or at least he was after the war).

If you ever get the chance, check out the American Airpower Heritage Museum in Midland, Tx. From what I hear, it's the largest collection of WWII aircraft, kept by the CAF. And they're ALL AIRWORTHY.

I plan on trying to take a day trip out there. Many pictures will be taken, and posted for you guys. ;)

The only time of year that the CAF at Midland has all their aircraft there is for the big airshow in September, otherwise the planes are based at whichever "Wing" sponsors it. Pensacola or the Air Force museum in Dayton would be my top picks. Thanks for the pic Raven.
