I noticed a few members from CT, just wondering how many. It doesn't seem like a big shooting state. I'm from Milford myself, ususally shoot at Highrock in Naugatuck. Usually shop online when I can, the shops around me are gougers. So who's from CT? where do you shoot/shop just curious.

I'm from Burlington CT.  Probably going to be moving sometime soon, though.  Hopefully to New Hampshire.

I usually shoot on private land or police/military ranges.

Northwest corner. Shop at Autumn Gun Works in Goshen, shoot at NW Rod and Gun in Canaan, and NW CT Sportsmans' Association in Colebrook.

A shameless plug for a good egg: If you're ever in Goshen or anywhere close by, you should stop in and see Chris at Autumn Gun Works, on RT 63. He's not into black guns there, but man, he has everything you might ever need for reloading just about any caliber, and he always has an interesting old military rifle or two, for sale on the rack, along with the usual inventory of shotguns, lever actions, single shot and bolt actions.

One of these days I'm going to get him out to shoot my ARs, and maybe convert him to a believer. He says his usual customers wouldn't buy these things, but I think it's his predjudice, more than theirs. [:)]

He also happens to spend more time than I do, fighting the commies in our legislature, and I spend a lot of time, trust me. He's a good patriot. He deserves the support.

passed up a job relocation to ct because of nazi gun laws passed by socialist politicians, elected by spineless electorate that keeps putting them in office becaues they would rather give up their freedom for false security. all the hoopla about this town founded in 16whatever, historical site of so what, ties to history and freedom, but gave it all up because the king knows what is best for us.  read the posts about the ct sportsmen 'victories' because they can keep their rocks and sling shots, but can't own real firearms, the 'turn in your neighbor' laws, right of gov't to seize your firearms and keep them because you 'act strange'.  high taxes propped up by labor unions that sell out freedom for a quick buck, couldn't take most of my firearms with me because of grandfather clause and a.w. ban.  
no, i'm not from ct, but i suffer your loss of freedom.
p.s. did i mention that it is a beautiful area.
let me know if you ever regain your freedom.
