Connecticut DMV Instructor Accused of Giving Passing Grade in Exchange for Striptease

NAUGATUCK, Conn. —  A license inspector for the state Department of Motor Vehicles has been charged with persuading a woman to strip off some of her clothing in exchange for passing her driver's test.

Kevin Chagnon, 48, of New Britain, allegedly took advantage of a woman in her 20s who had failed her driver's test several times in the past, police said.

Chagnon was charged Tuesday with coercion, when he turned himself in to Naugatuck police. The charge of coercion is defined as compelling a person to involuntarily behave in a certain way by threats or some other form of pressure or force.

Police said Chagnon was giving a road test to the woman Dec. 13. She had failed the driving test several times previously. Chagnon allegedly told the woman he would issue her a driver's license if she would take her clothes off.

Police said the woman reluctantly took off some of her clothing, but refused to take off all of it and Chagnon issued the woman a license.

Chagnon was released on a written promise to appear Wednesday in Waterbury Superior Court.

When reached at his home by telephone by the Republican-American newspaper Wednesday afternoon, Chagnon said he had no comment and hung up.

Chagnon has been placed on paid administrative leave at the DMV.

This story somewhat reminds me of the "Licenses For Bribes" scandal we had in IL several years ago.

For a BJ I would've given her a Chauffeur's license!

My drivers ed guy was a former DMV tester. Yup he had gotten a BJ for a DL and they got caught.

How stupid do you have to be to fail a driver's test "several" times?

And for those who wonder why I am opposed to getting rid of all traffic laws like they did in the Netherlands....Here's your answer.

I've either been managing a business or in business for myself for years.  I've always had an unspoken "Big tit discount" "Tight ass discount" and other similar things.  The better she looks and the more she shows, the less she pays.  I don't give a crap what anyone thinks of that.  I like women and I like good looking women, so shoot me.   Of course I wasn't in a government job either, or coercing anyone into it.  I was just rewarding what came my way.

I even told the owner of one shop I managed that I was doing it.  He just laughed and said he didn't blame me, just don't let his wife find out.   There was a Hooters down the street, those girls got EVERYTHING in the place at cost plus 10% if they came in wearing their work outfits.  Tell me THAT doesn't attract more business into an auto related store.  I made sure the girls knew the owner was OK with it.  We both got treated real nice when we went in to Hooters for lunch.  Hey, what goes around comes around.
