I must have picked up either a virus, a nasty case of spyware, or both... because neither my anti-virus software nor spybot/ad-aware could fix it after multipple runs.

So I had to do a clean reinstall. While it's a totaly pain in the ass having to reinstall all of the software over again I have more or less gotten the back-up down to nothing at this point. Everything goes right into my D partition and really cuts down on what I need to save... including my MSIE Favorites and MS Outlook Express saved e-mails.

Now everything is all nice and clean and neat. We loves it, my precious.
