Heh, I'm not much on kids but I always love seeing parents encourage a healthy love of and respect for firearms in their offspring.

Great but no Eye protection for the 4 year old. Chances are slim of a problem but I wouldn't take a chance

That does raise a good point though when the liberal pansies talk about a "civil war". Even a lot of the gun communities kids would be able to put those treasonous lady dogs down. |

Hmnm....eye protection.
I refuse to wear it and can't shoot effectively with it.....but will soon be taking my 4 year old. Now I have a decision to make. |

That is awesome.
For the last couple of machine gun shoots at Knob Creek gun range, another guy and I have been running a .22LR shoot for 5-15 year olds. We just set up a lot of things to shoot in a pistol bay and let them go at it with 10/22's. We've had quite a few kids come thru that hadn't shot so much as a BB gun. We give a safety brief and have the younger kids all shoot seated at a table with the rifle supported. It's a great time for us and them. Our youngest shooter at the last shoot was 5. He and his dad had come down from Akron OH. The kid was so short he kind of kneeled on the chair and had a bad hold on the stock, but he was pretty damn accurate. |

That's really cool. Can't stand seeing the vids where parents let their kid shoot overpowered guns unsupported.
