Police investigate shooting death

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH




Columbus police today are investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in an apartment at 4470 Laraine Court on the Southeast Side. His identity has not been released by police.

Officers found the man after responding to a call about a burglary at that address about 12:30 a.m. Police said he was shot by the homeowner, Jamison P. Spence, during a break-in. Spence has not been charged.

Police also questioned a 15-year-old boy who was seen driving away from the house.
