I wonder what they're going to announce? Maybe they'll finally admit Colt can't afford the move.

LOL, If the County Board would have followed ARF, they'd know to keep away from Colt from the beginning.

I didn't know Colt had a facility in Florida.

They were supposed to, but never fulfilled their end of the deal. Looks like they took the money and ran.

Like living in Fla. and Colts Mfg is where all your tax dollars are wasted. Ha Ha.

government waste blunder went on for seven years, and the County overcharged residents $1.46-million over the 7 years, and then paid the funds to the waste services firm.

A food stamp-collecting South Florida stripper who earned almost a 6-figure income and $600,000 in Miami school vending machines are just the tip of the iceberg.

At least Colt put the money into the property so its still in your state.

I'm sorry but we need to face reality that Colt today is a shady ass company that can't pay it's bonds/ debts and was curbed stomped when a financial company purchased Colt and bled it dry. Now we see it sucking off the tit of taxpayers and then bending the towne over, leaving them the bill.
Fuck Colt and the pony it rode in on.

This is how the game is played:

The governor will offer "incentives" for a company to move to their state, most of the time it's a lower tax rate. Then the gubner and the gubner's party can claim they created jobs, stimulated the local economy, etc

Later these "incentives" magically become "corporate welfare".

When democraps do it, it's called a "stimulus". Same thing, it becomes corporate welfare.
