Sprinfield incorporated a lock into their 1911's, Colt scales back, S&W betrayed us. It's ironic that the foreign gun makers are the one who are fighting for our gun rights. That's why I buy foreign only.

The Springfield Armory 1911-A1's also have two safeties count 'em two ... the Springfield frames are made in Brazil .... for $20 you can remove the ILS if it's mear presence upsets you ... nor like I, not use it at all ... and please remind me which foreign manufactures are making 1911-A1's (and AR's for that matter)?

The cottage firearm industry in the U.S. is just a micro-casium of U.S. industry as a whole. In general were buying foreign / except of course our lovely AR's. [rocket]

crappy trigger pulls that almost always need to visit a gunsmith.
