My only stipulation was that it was on the East side of the mountains to justify the distance and that the range be NFA friendly. Then I would be a definate show.

I live in Denver and I'm up for a shooting get-together. I don't have an AR yet but I should have a Bushmaster shorty carbine by spring. Also, I belong to the Colorado Rifle Club about an hour east of Denver. Not sure if they allow full auto or not, though...

I second Rampart Range, there is a place to camp right up the road from the range too. It is in national forest so the camping is free. We had the TGN shoot there Oct before last, it was a blast.

I am up for one just tell me were. BTW Rampart Range is closed to recreational shooting thank the forest service for that.

It looks like the Rampart Range is out. I am looking at the Southeast part of the state. About 3 hrs from Denver. Firearm's friendly rural county. With a nice range where we could simultaneously shoot handguns and rifles. Good weather most of the time and several motels and a KOA campground. I am getting a lot of positive responses.

I live in Colorado Springs, I's drive anywhere within 3 hours. I've been to Dragon Mans several times, it can get crowded there. Let me know if you put something together.

Sign me up too. What about the range in Byers east of Denver?
I've also been inquiring about shooting in the Pawnee National Grasslands. That would be a possibility too.
|
|
|
The good thing about the grasslands is that you can do anything you want. The down side is no facilities of any kind.

You guys pick a weekend date and time and I'll be there. Is there a way we could reserve a range somewhere so it would just be AR15.com people? I'd pay extra for that. Lets do it and have a blast.

Rampart Range sounds great, and I am sure that we could get a lot of people together. I could even bring a Carbon 15 and show all you guys that they don't blow up or jam [;)]
