Yesterday we were bar-b-queing in shirt sleeves in the back yard, drinking whiskey, swatting mosquitoes and having a party. Today we're having a hard freeze. Check your anti freeze and wrap those pipes boys. It's gonna be 20 in southern Tennessee.

I have 4 cords of seasoned oak and ash in the barn and the wood stove is glowing nicely. Let 'er rip tater chip!

My bunch were putting on their plows, spreader and chains when I left work today.

Makes me sick to think about cold and bad weather.

Hang in there!

Yup, it's going ta' be a cold one.  Just checked a bit ago and it's already in the mid-20's.  Thank God I put in a wood stove last month. Got a good fire going, 86F in the family room and I've got duct work with a fan that'll bring the warm air to the back part of the house.  Got plans to sip on some homemade 'shine and sweet tea and watch some Hockey(the greatest game on earth) tonight.  My grandkids don't know what to make of this. Then moved here this spring from Phoenix AZ. and cold to them is the mid-40's, guess they'll learn the real meaning of cold tonight.  Keep warm and have a good night ya'll.

Here in College station Tx, we had 34 this morning. That's the coldest I remember seeing it since I moved here. Put on your warm clothes!

Here in the flatland of So. Calif, near the base of the San Gabriel mountains, we're going to the mid-40s. Rigth now without the heater on in my house, the termometer says 68°F at the moment.
