Well....global warming / clmate change IS a religion.

ALgore is the high priest.

Carbon credits are the indulgences / offerring.

Could this result in someone being allowed off on "earth day" or some other such non-sense? This kind of ruling potentially opens the door for all kinds of special interest groups abuse of religion status, which could in turn result in a backlash effect that endangers legit rights.

Well, let's remember that this story is about England but obviously I think we should be concerned with wacky ideas being accorded legitimate and weighty status anywhere.
