Just saw a bit on TV about the next Arch Bishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.  The ever increasing radical nature of British politics has allowed the appointment of an individual that appears ready to compromise on some of the very core values of the church.  He is for the acceptance of gay relationships and is against pretty much every military action we are currently involved in or may be.  Not real happy to see this.  The position of Arch Bishop of Canterbury is the most important church posting in England and tradionally has the most influence as well.
