Aint that the truth. I was a vegetarian for a year and still had high cholesterol. Well the score wasnt high but none of it was HDL. I quit smoking and eat less than 30% of fat in my diet. I need to get checked to see where its at now. Trying to raise the HDL

Yes it does. 4 years ago mine was 263. I stopped smoking and started eating better. Two years ago the number was down to 233. Two months ago it was down to 201.

And my HDL numbers are climbing as well.

Smoking really affects your HDL levels.

Mine was 253 the first time I had it checked. Tried eating better and such and got it down to about 215 or so a year later. Probably back up to about 1000 now...
