Beijing (Reuters) - Chinese officials have stated they
are holding the United States "responsible" for today's
mid-air collision, involving several Chinese aircraft and
an American aircraft. This comes just weeks after a
similar incident involving a U.S. plane.

Officials have stated that at approximately 8:46am, GMT,
a squadron of F-8 fighter aircraft collided with the American
Goodyear Blimp. The crash left over a dozen Chinese planes
downed and the blimp's electronic billboard damaged.

Sources say the blimp's marquee had been advertising 7-Up,
leaving only the line "Up Yours" in view after the collision.
