Made in the USA.
Wifey loves mini Chick-0-Sticks. I loved the original stick as a kid.
How can you go wrong with Peanut Butter, Sugar and Toasted Coconut. She limits herself to two of the minis a day!!!
I rarely try one any more as I know I won't be able to stop at one.

Sounds gross but whatever makes you guys happy. I eat Danish candy that would probably make most of my fellow u.s. citizens gag in disgust.

Also act as the world's greatest dental filling removers, should you be able to afford candy and not dentistry.

Hated Cowtales as well. I did love a good tootsie roll, more than Chick 0 Stick.

I thought "Chick on a stick" was street slang for the bitch is on the rag?

I like my candy to sound like candy and my chicken to sound like chicken. I fell for the marshmallow ice cream cones and circus peanuts as a kid... never again.

No more candy tomfoolery for this guy.

Every now and then it's good to eat a candy you enjoyed as a kid. Brings back some memories.

Mallow Cups are my guilty childhood pleasure.

Googling "mallow cups".

ETA: Found em. Marshmallow, milk chocolate and coconut. Uhhh....If I try one I'm afraid Chick-0-Stick is dropping to second place.

If you ever get over this way we can go on a company tour!

They also have "Group Buys" which are in huge clear plastic bags or maybe even 5 gallon buckets like yesteryear!

They send a lot of candies to our Troops overseas.

I'm debating it actually.
I would shove it in the SHTF closet with the rest of our stash for doomsday.
When will I go near Lufkin, Tx ?

During the Holidays in Puerto Rico it was rare the house that didn't have those blue tins or "Royal Dansk" (IIRC) sugar cookies and served with espresso. Yumm. Our cheese was frequently Danish as well.

I know of and have consumed many Yoohoos.
Never seen the chocolate cola.

I have never heard of this candy until a few hours ago. The place I filled up at had a box on the counter and I noted them as 'chick-o-stick' is a weird name for a non-chicken item.
Link Posted: 9/29/2011 6:53:02 PM EDT
Never had one.

They make me think of the swimming pool, as a kid that was one thing you could buy for like $.10 at the snack bar. And square pizzas, and frozen snicker bars.

Those cookies are awesome - definitely one of my favorites. Licorice is also a huge thing in Scandinavia, I used to eat tins full as a child. Going overseas was a huge treat because my relatives would stuff me full of whatever sweets they could find, most of it good.

One of my sisters lives near Lufkin, and brings me large bags of the Chick-o-Sticks AND the Peanut-butter Bars––-
By the time they're all gone it feels like all the enamel has been stripped off my teeth.................
But they sure are good!

Wait, you don't like circus peanuts? Who doesn't like their foamy, orange-colored sugary goodness?

Pffft, some folks can enjoy the occasional or even regular consumption of treats without shoving gobs of it into their gaping maws. It's called self-control.

Enjoy your life less lived.
